WORK EXPERIENCE

Examinations Coordinator/Editor
UBC

Supervising the development of English Language test forms and supplementary test materials including writing, editing, and working with software developers.
Managing coworkers at various points throughout the test development and writing phases.
Liaising with the public and administering high-stakes secure examinations. Managing collection and marking of test responses.
Distribution of test results.
Developing, writing, and rolling out policy and procedures manuals, user manuals, and delivering programs.

Learning and Development Specialist
Bell West Inc.

Designed training programs to meet corporate initiatives and succession planning objectives. Programs included: new hire orientation sessions, technical training, and project management training. 
Conducted needs analysis to identify training gaps in Customer Solutions Team (100 technical and non-technical employees) for Vancouver, Calgary, and Edmonton branches.
Developed and coordinated 100 employee learning plans.  Each plan was individually designed and tracked to meet technical and project management corporate competencies.
Managed up to 10 training programs simultaneously. Projected 12-month training schedules and coordinated logistics, including scheduling courses and booking training institutes.
Sourced, negotiated and scheduled outsourced training from IBM (Cisco), Global Knowledge (Nortel), Mitel, technical and PMI institutes, and PBSC.
Designed and delivered cost effective training programs through train-the-trainer programs; identified internal subject matter experts who became in-house trainers; designed train-the-trainer roles and education plans.
